Project Overview

Innovative two-level childcare facility featuring an open-roof playdeck on Level 2, delivered for Carelli Constructions. The unique design required specialized weatherproofing detailing at the roof interface, with moisture-resistant lining systems throughout upper-floor wet areas. Acoustic treatment between floors achieved Rw 55+ to isolate active outdoor play zones from quiet learning spaces below. Impact-resistant plasterboard throughout all child-accessible zones, with rounded corner profiles and tamper-proof fixings ensuring compliance with Victorian childcare facility standards. External-grade plasterboard systems used in playdeck perimeter walls to withstand weather exposure.
